My Beauty Tips

Have your eyebrows shaped and/or tinted.

Recently my eyebrows had grown so much they were starting to take over my face!
I was recommended by top make up artist, Daniel Sandler to pay a visit to eyebrow expert, Shavata who is based at Harrods.

Shavata set to work on my eyebrows and less than 15 minutes later, I was waxed and plucked and (even if I say so myself) looked much younger.

Your eyebrows are so important to get right as they frame your face and need to be the right shape and thickness to compliment your features.

My Top 5 Beauty Tips:

Exercise is great for your mind as well as your body and helps keep you looking younger too!

Drinking around 2 litres of water every day is great for your complexion and keeps your energy levels up.

Getting plenty of sleep will make your skin look its best and you will feel much more alert and have more energy. I like to have 8 hours sleep.

Take care of yourself by having your hair done, treatments etc. You will feel like a new woman/man! Just by cutting back on buying chocolate bars and tea, coffee and sugar drinks, you could put all that money together to help treat yourself to a bit of pampering.

Smile! Not only do most of us look better when we smile it means less frown lines as we get older and it burns calories!

Help for Heroes Celebrity Golf Day at Stoke Park

I was so pleased to be able to help out with the charity golf day. I was even more pleased that my job was inside on registration with Emma, Steve, Chris and Lee, rather than on the green as it was one of the wettest days this year! It was lovely to be working with a team of people from Bolton, you really can't beat 'northern folk'!
The weather didn't stop a good turn out of golfers though, each team headed by a celebrity player. Over £130,000 was raised in total. A fantastic amount for a very worthy cause.
Thanks John for the delicious pasties, they went down a treat!
